I went to a card show today! Thankfully for me there was somebody with a pretty decent dimebox.
The odd-ball Ken Griffey Jr. ( top left corner) is rather oversized. Multiple exposure cards are always welcome here, especially when they feature Don Mattingly.
Basically, I collect all knuckelballers.
A quartet of odd-balls! The Waldo Candies Ryne Sandberg is rather weird.The bottom 2 are from Investor's Journal. Go figure. I reallt have no idea what that Jose Canseco is.
These 4 costed a combined 40 cents! I'm especially happy about the 1977 st. Louis pocket schedule.
Carlton Fisk in the 1900s, Cal Ripken on his phone, baseball card magazine cards=awesome.
Anybody know what this card is? I researched a bit but I wasn't able to find any thing.
I also got about 15 more of these Action Packed cards. I always love getting cards of oldies like Frankie Crosseti and Joe Garagiola. I've always collected Bobby Doerr since I made a homemade baseball card for him before he died and he sent it back signed. That card is now one of the centerpieces of my collection.
The dime-box guy gave me this as a throw-in.On the way out I stopped at the the proprietor's vintage table. I'm certainly glad I did.
The 1936 Goudey "Bobo" Newsom was listed at $6 and the other 2 were listed as $1 combined but the guy gave me them for $6 total.Overall, $14 well spent.
It's raining here in TX and I recommend "Rainy Day, Dream Away" by Jimi Hendrix.
A Carney Lansford rookie card for a dime? That's a heck of a find. Love the 1985 Woolworth's Gooden too. Great stuff all around.
