The Mega Break

Last night at about 8:15 I signed up for Jay Barker Fan's Mega Break. There was only 3 MLB teams left so I got the Phillies. At least they had Mike Schmidt. Still, I'm glad that I got any,  because when I checked this morning there weren't any left. 

Black Friday.

I had a great time on Friday at Comc.com. I spent about $35 and qualified for free shipping. However, I will wait 'till they come so I can show the scans (+ plus I've forgotten a lot of the details anyway). I don't have any readers yet except for my Mom and Dad so nobody will be disappointed anyway.

The shining waters of Donora, PA.

Ken Griffey Jr; the 2nd greatest player ever to have been born in Donora, PA, and born on November 21 as Stan Musial also fit those qualifications.  Its kind of hard to be better than somebody who accumulated 3630 hits, even if you did hit 630 homeruns. Anyway, I don't have much time tonight, but I  still would to like to wish the the Donora boys a happy birthday.



P.S Stan Musial hit a homerun in his 1st at-bat after becoming a grandfather.

Hello, I my name is John, I am 12 years old, and I am an avid baseball card collector. I also love Rock&Roll and other kinds of music. I play Little League baseball and I am  mainly a pitcher and 2nd baseman. I am a little absent minded and my collection goes a little slow because of mom imposed limits but I will try to post at least once a week.As my  birthday was 2 weeks ago I  might as well display the display the loot:

 The 53' color Billy Martin and Phil Rizzuto is graded 1.5 and is in beautiful condition except for some glue on the back.Also the Pennock card has some paper loss on the back but is otherwise in pretty good condition.

I did not want these cards sideways but I dont know how to change that either. I'm still learning here.

These Kellogs cards were given to me by a friend of my fathers.

I also got a 1962 topps whitey ford card from my dad. I didn't get any other cards from relatives but I got a good amount of money which I plan to make use of on black friday on COMC.Overall, it was a pretty good birthday.
