Hallelujah!!! I can finally show my pictures on my blog again! I can now finally recount the strange happenings of Christmas day, 2018. As you can see, I got a nice 1941 Play Ball Lefty Gomez. It is really beautiful, however, the case slightly hampers it. Here it is without it's case:
This one actually got here while we were away. Rather nice having what I'm pretty sure off the top of my head is a 1935 Diamond Stars card. However, I could be wrong.
This is actually my 1st 1934 Goudey and it looks pretty good. John(y) Allen actually once went 15-1 and was 142-75 for his career. He might have or might not have used a spitball but that's pretty good.
Actually, my Christmas is still going! My aunt Martha apparently told a friend or neighbor that I collected baseball cards and there heading my way! I kind of wish people would tell you there sending you stuff a day or two before you get it so you have a little time to anticipate but don't waste away in waiting. Whatever those cards may be, 80s cards or vintage topps, I 'll be glad to get them!
P.S Don't forget to check out my song of the week! It'm afraid it will be hidden under this post1
That's some truly beautiful vintage!
