in " the song of the week" i prefer to do lesser known and kind of hole in the wall songs. this feature is here really to spread the good news. i was originally going to do "magic carpet ride" by steppenwolf but i decided it was too well known.however, if you haven't heard it yet i definitely advise for you to check it out.
Never heard of Big Star until this post... but just started listening to some of their songs on YouTube. Love it. Definitely gonna keep an eye out for the LP's on my flea market runs. Thanks for sharing.
